Creating a MicadFM Job Hyperlink in ZetaSafe
Overview
The FM App Link feature in ZetaSafe allows you to generate a hyperlink that connects a MicadFM job directly to the ZetaMobile app. This link can be pasted into the corresponding job in MicadFM, giving technicians quick access to the relevant tasks, assets, and locations in ZetaMobile.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have access to the FM App Link option under the Maintenance menu. If it does not appear, contact your ZetaSafe System Administrator or the ZetaSafe Support Team.
Have the relevant Compliance Scheme, Asset Type, Tasks, and Location details to hand — these should correspond to the PPM or Reactive Job in MicadFM
Steps to Generate a MicadFM Job Hyperlink
1. Navigate to FM App Link
Hover over the Maintenance menu in the ZetaSafe header.
Click FM App Link from the dropdown.
2. Configure the Filters
On the Generate FM Link screen, select the filters that correspond to the relevant MicadFM job:
Filter | Description |
Compliance Scheme | Select the scheme related to the job |
Asset Type | Select the relevant asset type(s) |
Tasks | Select the tasks associated with the job |
Locations | Select the location(s) relevant to the job |
Tip: Use the ALL, NONE, and INVERSE buttons to quickly manage selections across each filter. For locations, expand the location tree to select specific buildings or sub-locations.
3. Generate the Link
Click the Generate Link button. A unique zetamobile:// link will be created based on your selected filters.
4. Copy and Paste the Link
Click Copied! to copy the generated link to your clipboard.
Navigate to the corresponding job in MicadFM.
Paste the link into the appropriate field within the job.
Things to Keep in Mind
Filter accuracy is important — the generated link is based entirely on the filters you select. Ensure they accurately reflect the scope of the MicadFM job to avoid technicians being directed to incorrect tasks or locations.
The link is specific to your selections — if the compliance scheme, asset types, tasks, or locations change in ZetaSafe, a new link may need to be generated.
