Ordering Locations and Sub-Locations

Overview
Locations and sub-locations can be reordered at any time from the Location Explorer screen. Top-level locations and sub-locations are ordered independently of each other, giving you full control over how your location hierarchy is displayed.
Ordering Top-Level Locations
In the Location Explorer tree, select the client name.
From the side menu, choose Order Top Level Locations.
Apply your preferred ordering method (see below) and save.
Ordering Sub-Locations
In the Location Explorer, select the parent location whose sub-locations you want to reorder.
From the side menu, choose Order Sub Locations.
Apply your preferred ordering method (see below) and save.
Ordering Methods
Method | Description |
Alphabetical AâZ | Automatically sorts locations in ascending alphabetical order |
Alphabetical ZâA | Automatically sorts locations in descending alphabetical order |
Manual | Select one or more locations and use the arrow keys to move them up or down the list |
Things to Keep in Mind
Top-level locations and sub-locations are ordered independently â reordering top-level locations does not affect the order of sub-locations within them, and vice versa.
Manual ordering gives full flexibility â use this when an alphabetical sort does not reflect the logical or physical order of your locations.
