Adding New Clients to a Channel

Overview

Channel Administrators of aggregated channels can add new clients directly within ZetaSafe, provided sufficient licences are available within the selected channel. New clients are managed by their parent channel by default.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure you are a Channel Administrator of an aggregated channel.

  • Confirm there are sufficient licences available within the channel for the new client. Licences can be checked and managed via the Aggregated Licence Management screen in the Channel menu.

How to Add a New Client

  1. Click the Channel menu in the ZetaSafe header.

  2. Select Add New Client.

  3. Complete the required fields (see below).

  4. Save the new client record.

By default, the new client will be managed by its parent channel.

Required Information

Field

Details

Client Name

The name of the new client

Type

The client type (e.g. Trial, Live)

Industry Type

The industry the client operates in

Physical Address

Expiry Date

Assigning Licences

Licences can be assigned to the new client either:

  • At the time the client is created, or

  • At a later stage via the Aggregated Licence Management screen

The Aggregated Licence Management screen is located in the Channel menu of the main aggregating channel and is visible to Channel Administrators only.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Aggregated channel admin access is required — only Channel Administrators of aggregated channels can add new clients.

  • Sufficient licences must be available — if the channel does not have enough licences, the new client cannot be added until additional licences are allocated. Contact your Account Manager if you need to increase your licence allocation.

  • Licences can be assigned later — if you are not ready to assign licences at the time of creation, this can be done afterwards through the Aggregated Licence Management screen.
