Using the Escalation Report for Timely Alerts
đ„ Video Walkthrough: A video guide accompanies this article â watch it here.
Overview
The Escalation Report is designed to quickly surface issues in ZetaSafe by sending an alert within an hour of a non-compliant result being recorded against an asset. It monitors consecutive events based on recipient-defined criteria, ensuring that recurring or escalating problems receive prompt attention.
How the Escalation Report Works
The report monitors assets for consecutive Red, Amber, and Could Not Complete (CNC) results. When the number of consecutive events matching the defined criteria is reached, an alert is triggered from a schedule.
Key behaviours:
Alert timing â an alert is sent within one hour of a qualifying result being added.
Consecutive event tracking â the report counts consecutive results that match the defined criteria, not individual one-off events.
Flexible grouping â Red, Amber, and CNC events can be grouped in any combination when setting the trigger criteria. For example, a recipient could configure the report to trigger after three consecutive results that are either Red or CNC.
Result Types That Trigger the Report
Result Type | Can Trigger Escalation |
Red | â Yes |
Amber | â Yes |
Could Not Complete (CNC) | â Yes |
Green | â No |
Things to Keep in Mind
Criteria are set per recipient â each recipient can define their own combination of result types and consecutive event thresholds, allowing the report to be tailored to different roles or priorities.
The report is schedule-driven â alerts are triggered based on a configured schedule once the consecutive event threshold is met.
One hour response window â the near-real-time alert makes this report particularly useful for time-sensitive compliance monitoring.
