Identifying In-Tolerance Tasks While Entering Data
đ„ Video Walkthrough: A video guide accompanies this article â watch it here.
Overview
When entering data against a long list of tasks for an asset, it can be difficult to quickly identify which tasks are currently in tolerance. ZetaSafe provides real-time visual feedback as you enter data, making it easier to spot in-tolerance tasks without needing to navigate away from the screen.
How It Works
As you enter data, the "i" icon next to a task will turn amber to indicate that the task is in tolerance. Clicking the amber "i" icon displays additional details about the task, including:
Schedule frequency (if applicable)
Next scheduled date after the current one
Any descriptions associated with the task type
Supported Entry Methods
This feature applies to results entered using the following methods:
Method | Supported |
Rapid Result | â Yes |
Running Man Icon | â Yes |
Local date and time | â Yes |
Backdated results | â No |
Note: Real-time in-tolerance feedback does not apply to backdated results.
Things to Keep in Mind
The "i" icon is your visual cue â keep an eye on it as you work through a task list to quickly identify in-tolerance items without interrupting your workflow.
Clicking the icon provides context â use the additional details to understand the task's schedule and plan follow-up actions accordingly.
Backdated results are not supported â if you are entering historical data, in-tolerance indicators will not be shown.
